PUTTING EVERYTHING IN PLACE SO YOU CAN SOAR

GhostLine is a purpose‐built commercial kitchen created for growing food businesses of all shapes and sizes.

Founded by thoughtful Austin, TX based entrepreneurs who understand food business, operations, and numbers, GhostLine was conceived to serve the artisan maker, wholesale baker, CPG up-and-comer, and the booming delivery‐only restaurant — all under one roof. Our 17,500 sq. ft. facility just southeast of downtown Austin is equipped with kick-ass amenities and tiered offerings, making it easy to serve a diverse community while also enabling a business to enter at one phase and scale without having to relocate to another facility.

In addition to intelligent operations, inclusion, and ethical business practices, GhostLine’s founders value the power of a well‐designed work space. From smart space planning and adjacencies to decrease your step count, daylight to improve mental health and productivity, and technology to drive sales and save money, GhostLine ATX has optimized where it matters.

You’ll find Swayze (our mascot featured endearingly in our logo) and his ghost squad, hustling behind the scenes and swiftly through the corridors to help your business succeed, to be friendly and savvy food-industry veterans who care about service and making sure you’re taken care of.

SHALOU BARTH

Co-Founder & CEO

Shalou’s passions for food and entrepreneurship run deep. In 2011, she transformed a dilapidated East Side building into a thriving neighborhood retail center, one with local food business at the core. She also brought to life and garnered a fan following for her own restaurant, Unit‐D Pizzeria. As Shalou looked at ways to grow the pizzeria, she encountered gaps as well as opportunities in Austin’s commercial kitchen landscape. Shortly thereafter in 2017, the GhostLine concept was born.

THOMAS CRIPPS

Co-Founder & CFO

Tom’s first job was as a cook at a Sizzler franchise in Melbourne, Australia at the age of 14. Tom eventually moved on from cheesy bread and buffets but remained close to the hospitality industry, until he took on some real estate and finance roles after earning his MBA. Now he is back in the food world with GhostLine, determined to address significant facility gaps in the commissary world by delivering quality, community, and flexibility to Austin’s thriving food scene.

KEVIN KAMMERMAN

Director of Operations

Kevin’s love for food processing is overshadowed only by his love to eat. Having worked everywhere from ice cream shops to restaurants, in wine and craft beer manufacturing, and most recently running operations at Buddha’s Brew Kombucha, Kevin nerds out about food production of all kinds. He helped Buddha’s Brew scale at rates exceeding 150%, so Kevin truly understands the pains of rapid growth. His motto: “Allow me to ease the growing pains for your business so you can focus on what matters most — the food itself.”
